Evaporative Cooling Controls

Let's face it... when using your evaporative system for cooling, humidity control, chemical applications or whatever, you need to make sure you've got everything at the correct settings to achieve optimal performance and ultimately achieve the task you've set out to do, whether it's a once-in-a-while task or a daily task. VAL-CO's controllers help you achieve these goals and let you enjoy some peace of mind. Following are some of the options available for you.

PolAIR™ 400HC Unit

The PolAIR™ 400HC is designed to control and regulate the PolAIR™ High Pressure Fog System by temperature and humidity. The 400HC can be configured for single or two stage / zone operation. Specifically designed for the PolAIR™ System, the 400HC includes the motor starter, motor thermal overloads, inputs for 2 temperature and 2 humidity sensors, single or two stage / zone cooling and humidification capabilities.

PolAIR™ Sequence Panel

The PolAIR Sequence Panel includes automatic relay contacts for interfacing control devices like the PolAIR 400TC Time Controller and other activation devices such as computerized control systems or in house plant DCS networks. The Sequence Panel includes real-time monitoring and alarming of the motor thermal overloads, sequencing of the inlet water supply and pump drain solenoid. Pump run time is maintained in the sequence panel for up to 32,000 hours and an on board system maintenance meter is provided. There are also built in delays for the inlet water supply to assure that the pump starts with a full head of water. It just really can't get any easier!

GainTRAC™ Select Series

VAL-CO’s GainTRAC™ Select Series Whole House Controllers provide you with the ability to monitor and control conditions. These controllers offer round-the-clock monitoring of in-house conditions and automatically coordinates the operation of all equipment (not just your evaporative cooling system) to maintain the best possible environment. Sensors measure the temperature, airspeed and humidity and combine them in a copyrighted formula to allow the grower better control over actual house conditions. High humidity cutoff helps prevent heat-humidity stress by controlling evaporative cooling based on the heat index (relative humidity plus temperature). No other control can better manage power or naturally ventilate buildings.

Climatrac 400

A low-cost ventilation control that can run various device configurations, including some for your evaporative cooling system. It also features high-humidity cutoff for evaporative cooling and manual overrides, should it ever be needed.
